I think the gearbox could be smoother-Perhaps an ATF change too as I can't believe that the supplying dealer did actually change the ATF because at the last service they said they changed the combination filter and didn't, and judging by the state of it and the manufacturing date of the old filter they didn't and lied about it in the service before that too. I'm not familiar with the terminology, perhaps this is service measures as BlackC55 explained. In this case the fix should not only be free but the owner should be compensated for a quality issue! I'd be tempted to claim the majority of workshops do not update control units irrespectively if the car is covered by warranty or not.
