Plantronics Ml20 Proshivka
Having upgraded only 6 Snom 760's to 8.7.5.28, all exhibit the following behaviour: Phone completes update and reboots, then downloads provisioning. Phone registers Notification 'SW-Update Failed' on every phone. Every phone 'successfully' upgraded - Settings/Maintenance/System Info shows 'snom760-SIP 8.7.5.28' Selecting 'info' 'info' 'X' to remove failed notification. At some point, phone will reboot and attempt to do another firmware update.

Programma rascheta neopredelennosti izmerenij. 'Check SW Update' from maintenance menu results in 'File Not Found' 'Error:99' My suspicion is that an auto-firmware check has been introduced in the new 8.7.5.28, and that the incorrect parameter for this check is generating an Error:99. Any advice received gratefully? Is there an auto-check? Can it be disabled?
New problem with BT-Headset: There seems a headset problem to be introduced in 8.7.5.28. With 8.7.5.17 the behavior was half way fine, not with 8.7.5.28 anymore. Incoming call, phone rings. In both versions there is NO ring tone in the BT-Headset, even if 'Ringer Device for Headset: Use Headset' or 'Use Headset and Speaker' is set. 8.7.5.17: Answering the call by headset is no problem, light in Headset button on Phone is all time active.
After completing this module, the learner should be able to do the following things. Mountain wave, downslope winds, waves, turbulence, wind storm, gravity wave, standing wave, cap cloud, lee wave, rotor cloud, rotor, lenticular cloud, vertically-propagating wave, jump region, trapped lee wave, downslope wind, wind storm, foehn, bora, stability, topography, buoyancy, oscillation, orographic wave, froude number, critical level, mountaintop inversion, wind shear, topography, NWP, numerical weather prediction, model, resolution, rawinsonde, radiosonde, satellite, clear slot, AVHRR, fog product, IR, MODIS, water vapor, pilot reports, PIREPS, GOES, jet streak, MSLP.
8.7.5.28: Answering with the headset is NOT possible. User has to press the Headset button on the phone to answer the call. This is annoying if the user is not near to the desk.

Discover how Plantronics Hub brings additional functionality to your new Plantronics Bluetooth® headset with helpful tools, notifications, and status information. I personally think that this is the best headset I’ve ever purchased, or the one exception that when it asks you to find it you cannot use the find option unless the headset is on it’s good if it fell out of your ear, but when you set it down you usually shut it off so you are on able to access the find my headset option. I think they should be some sort of power remaining just to be able to find your headset and make a noise that you can barely hear it’s it’s lotta enough that if everybody is client who’s around you you are able to hear it it does not pinpoint its location for instance I just used it to try to find mine and it was telling me that it was in the backyard when in fact it was right on the kitchen island. Compared to other well known brands such as Jabra and even the Plantronics Legend (my favorite up to this point) The Plantronics 5200 is hands down the best headset I’ve owned to date. I would never have imagined being able to replace my Legend with anything better, but they pulled it off with this model.
Crystal clear communication on both ends, awesome noise cancellation, and seamless integration with my virtual assistant (Siri). It’s sweat and water resistance, accompanied with the PLT Hub, it just doesn’t get any better at this point, but if I were to be critical at all, it would be the inability to alter headsets assistants voice ie; as with Siri.
But certainly not a deal breaker. The only other suggestion I would have, and certainly the more important of the two, is a longer talk time. I’m on the phone a lot through the day for work and a slightly longer talk time would be awesome ie; Jabra Storms 10 hr talk time. Regardless of these issues however, until they find a way to trump the 5200s capabilities, and over the top features, I can earnestly exclaim there’s no better headset out there.
This is THE BEST Bluetooth headset I have owned. And I’ve own MANY of the other brands. With those, either the sound fades, the battery doesn’t last long, the noise Cancellation doesn’t work as advertised or the background noise is so loud I have to put my phone on mute when I’m not talking. I never had a Plantronic because I didn’t like the “look”.
