When colouring on vellum you need to choose darker colours than you actually want to achieve. I don't know what it is about the nature of vellum but everything is always more muted on it.

I coloured with two shades of green and two of a plum/red colour using the darker colour of each to add shading and dimension and then blending with the lighter colour. The vellum is die cut with a die from Simon Says Stamp and I used the larger frame from the same set to cut a panel of card. I dug out my sewing machine to stitch the two panels together and then foam mounted on a card. To embellish there's a sprinkling of rhinestones and pearls and then to finish off a die cut sentiment cut from white card coloured with the darkest plum Copic marker.
