It detects the smartreader ok on my lappy but when I hit apply after setting to Dreambox mode it did not save the change. At first I didnt realise that this was not happening and thought I had omitted something else during setup.
So after 2 weeks p#~+ing about with drivers, settings editing lines I gave up. Then I had another go on an XP machine and noticed I got a confirmation when switching to Dreambox mode. Plugged it into the 800 and away she went. Overclocked it bit by bit and now running at 6.86 and the chip is a lot cooler than when in the internal of the dreambox or the sky box.
