Im listening to this show now for the 4th or 5th time. I was born on the day of this show and here I am 24 years later and listening this show as I have for the last 5 years or so (gotta love Archive) and I am really enjoying the Estimated jam, as well as the 'BOBBY' and the smooching kiss samples the drummers were lighting of from their sample pads at the time. I dont know if its this speaker system or the Trainwreck but this show is sounding better than ever right now and definitely shedding some new light on 1985 Grateful Dead right now.
Warn winch m12000 service manual. As another reviewer stated regarding 'She Belongs.' Jerry's vulnerability and masterful genius shown all at once and I believe this is true not just of that song, but other moments of the show, and of that era, as well. At least thats what I hear.
Happy Birthday Van Morrison, and Me! Thanks Archive, Love You Boys (GD) Gotta Get Back Truckin' On ~ Summertime Done Come and Gone!
You have to admit that She Belongs to Me was 'the' song in 1985 and how they played it this summer/fall tour clearly demonstrates that. They only played it three times as part of double encores and this version, although not the best maybe 4/28, 6/15,9/15 or 11/1, it is pretty damn close. You have to listen to them all! It is so dramtic, epic and devestating. The solos Jerry plays are so full of emotion, insight and passion, that they propel you to that place of nirvanna. They are quite moving and as intimate as you can get with this band. It is one of the best songs he played with The Dead, period.Think of it as his 'JGB' song with The Dead. He unleases emotionally and the band fully partiscipates too.
It is bizarre why they abandon the song in November, one of the great unknown mysteries of their careers, and it is mandatory listening if you want to get another glimps of Jerry displaying his beauty, vulnerabilty and genius all in one song.
